- Accumulator
- An accumulator is a single bet that links together two or more individual selections; all must win for you to get a payout.
- Asian Handicap
- Asian Handicap is a spread betting system that gives a virtual advantage or disadvantage to a team, removing the draw as a possible outcome.
- Bankroll
- Bankroll is the total amount of money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- Bet Builder is an online tool that lets you combine different markets from the same match into one custom wager.
- Bet Slip
- Bet Slip is the digital record showing the selections you have chosen and the amount of money you plan to stake.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS) is a market where you bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- Cash Out allows you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss based on current odds.
- Correct Score
- Correct Score is a bet that predicts the exact final score of a match, such as 2‑1 or 3‑0.
- Decimal Odds
- Decimal Odds show the total payout you receive for each unit wagered, inclusive of your stake.
- Double Chance
- Double Chance lets you cover two of the three possible outcomes in a match, like a home win or a draw.
- Draw No Bet
- Draw No Bet is a wager that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise it pays out on the winning team.
- Each-Way
- Each-Way is a two-part bet that backs a team to win and also to finish in a placed position, with separate odds for each part.
- Fold
- Fold is a term used to describe the number of selections in an accumulator, so a four‑fold includes four picks.
- Goal Line
- Goal Line is the total number of goals set for a match; you bet on whether the actual total will be over or under that line.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- Half-Time/Full-Time is a bet that predicts both the leader at halftime and the final result of the match.
- In-Play
- In-Play refers to betting that happens after the match has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- Juice, also called vig, is the commission a bookmaker adds to the odds, reducing the potential payout by a small percentage.
- Margin
- Margin is the bookmaker’s built‑in advantage, expressed as a percentage, which ensures they make a profit over many bets.
- Maximum Payout
- Maximum Payout is the highest amount a bookmaker will pay out on a winning bet, regardless of the actual odds.
- Over/Under
- Over/Under is a bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be higher or lower than a set figure.
- Parlay
- Parlay is another name for an accumulator; it combines multiple selections into a single wager that only pays out if all parts win.
- Push
- Push occurs when a bet lands exactly on the line, resulting in the stake being returned with no winner or loser.
- Stake
- Stake is the amount of money you risk on a bet; it determines the size of your potential payout.
- Value Bet
- Value Bet describes a selection where the odds offered are higher than the true probability suggests, offering an expected positive return.
- Void
- Void means a bet is canceled and the stake is refunded, usually because the event was postponed or a rule was changed.
